Intermediate Board of Education

The Board of Intermediate Education , was established in the year 1971. The main purpose to introduce this course is to regulate & supervise the system.

Andhra Pradesh is the first state in India to adopt 10+2+3 kind of education system. IPE has General Courses as well as the Vocational, where the latter shall help the students with a path to employment through the specialized knowledge gained. The general courses are MPC, Bi.P.C, MEC, CEC and so on.

Intermediate board conducts annual exams every year for the students in the month of March or April. Failed candidates can immediately clear the exams by writing Advanced Supplementary exams generally conducted the in the month of June or July.

LAWCET Results 2009

LAWCET ( Law Common Entrance Test )

LAWCET ( Law Common Entrance Test ) for the year 2009 is being conducted by Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Eligibility: Candidates aspiring to pursue 3 year LL.B/B.L should have passed any Graduate Degree of a recognized University with an aggregate of 40% marks.

For 5 year LL.B/B.L Course, candidates should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 40% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Examination.

LAWCET Information

The Law course is a realm where crises in social and financial areas amid the public are fairly marked. A degree in law not only offers straight opportunities for occupation but provide an instrument to fight against inequality and wrong deeds of all types in the country.

LLB is a law course of three-year duration. To get admission for this course, the students have to give an entrance test and a personal interview. The course arrangement is divided into 6 semesters. LLB (General) Degree is offered after the successful completion of the second year. The LLB Degree is awarded only after the completion of three years i.e. six semesters.

3 Year L.L.B./B.L. Course: The Candidates for 3 year L.L.B./B.L. should have passed any Graduate Degree of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by this Universities concerned.

5 Year L.L.B./B.L. Course : The Candidates for 5 year L.L.B./B.L. Should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.

Note: There is a relaxation of 5% marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year/5 year Law course in favor of the Candidates belonging to SC/ST.
